MOSSL OFFICE - 05/16/03 - 31 gamers in attendance. - Good Friends and Good Fun !!!
Columbus Area Boardgaming Society AAR: The official count was 31 total present at our meeting. (First arrival (me) to open the doors at 5:15pm, final departure (me) to close the door at 1:15am. Home at 2:30 am in an hour in 15 minutes trip that is usually 45 minutes as every exit in Columbus seemed to have night work going on and I drove around half the city getting south of it!! Long day as I was up at 6am to go off to work. Thank God I'm not closer next time ...

GAMES PLAYED: Battle Line x2 (Lost one of these), Ulysses (I lose), Settlers of the Stone Age (I win to go 6-1 in the game), Korea, Advanced Squad Leader, Roads and Boats, Bang! x2 (Win one & Lose one), Illuminati: The Card Game, Carcassonne, Puerto Rico, Hammer of the Scots, Twilight Struggle, Robo Rally, Zendo x?? (I'm not sure if I won this game or not - does anyone win this one???). Fun was had by all ...

Picked up 3 NEW PAID MEMBERS. They each paid $5 for the remaining months in the 2002-2003 gaming season. Two of these were from the local convention CAPCON who got our new business cards we were handing out at the convention. These two were in the last group to leave at 1:15 am. They took a 1/2 dozen more business cards and said that they were going to tell their gaming group to come. (They had been afraid that we were just a bunch of 'geezers with tweezers' and had never come before)

MOSSL OFFICE - 05/02/03 - NO MEETING - CAPCON at OSU - We missed you ...

MOSSL OFFICE - 04/18/03 - 36 gamers in attendance. - Beautiful Cool Good Friday
Paths of Glory, Mare Nostrum, Lords of Sierra Madre, Knonikole, Rome: Rome versu Cathage, Rome: Circus Maximus, Rome:Imperium, Settlers of the Stone Age, Heave Ho, Clans, Age of Renaissance, 3 boards of ASL !!!, Wallenstein, This Accured Civil War, Puerto Rico, Union Pacific, Lost Cities, Football Strategy

Worthy of Note: The Kronikole board was set up all night and saw MANY games as people used it as filler in between games and even turns of longer games. The club should think about getting the game. Our landlord who was working late was seen coming into the room and inquiring if everything was alright when Bruce made a deal with a another person and the other person did not understand that the spirit of deals and the word of deals are not always the same thing. Ken G. of Texas (visited us from the GATHERING) and another gentleman from Dayton (1h 30 minute drive) attended the meeting. The gentleman from Dayton had heard about our meetings and saw our website and wanted to see what all the fuss was about.
